Jack Robinson Gallery
The Jack Robinson Gallery is located in the warehouse/arts district of Downtown Memphis Tennessee. The gallery is devoted to both the work of Jack Robinson as well as the work of other fine arts photographers. The gallery regularly shows and represents the best in regional photographers as well as a handful of nationally recognized photographers. The gallery consists of 5 separate showrooms and occupies 2 floors with over 8000 square feet. The permanent collection of the work of Jack Robinson is continuously rotated to give our visitors a varied experience upon return visits. The gallery hosts approximately 8 shows of new work by others each year. The gallery is available for bus tours or visits by large groups upon request. There is plenty of parking and the gallery is located on the trolley line in Memphis. Just 4 blocks from such Memphis attractions as historic Beale Street and even closer to the new FedEx Forum, home of the NBA Grizzlies the gallery is always an inviting venue for visitors.
Traveling exhibits
Jack Robinson Gallery of Photography curates shows of our artists work to be shown at galleries and museums around the world. Our currently available traveling exhibits are listed below.
“Let it Rock“This exhibit was curated by the Getty Gallery in London. The show contains some 60 prints and utilizes 190 feet of wall space.
“Celebrity“Originally curated by David Lusk for the David Lusk Gallery this show contains some 40 silver gel large format (20 x 20 image size) portraits of icons of the late sixties and early seventies. The wall space required is 160 linear feet single hung.
Gallery Rental
The Jack Robinson Gallery is available for special event rental. The gallery can accommodated 20 to 200 people and has a complete caterer’s kitchen.
Trolley Tour
he Trolley Tour is a grand event that occurs on the last Friday of each month. The trolley is free to all that night and all of the galleries in the South Main Arts District throw open their doors Featured Exhibit
