In 2001, with a dream and a 1993 used limousine, Melody started Twin Lakes Limousine Service. In the beginning she operated from home and would meet clients at the Inn of Lenoir to arrange business. What started out as a dream has mushroomed into a full-fledged professional transportation business. Twin Lakes Limo, Inc. now has a fleet of new limousines. You will find the latest in SUV limousines, showcasing not one, but two of the most impressive H2 (Hummer) stretch limousines that you could imagine, with both stretched and non stretched Excursions and Lincoln Limousines rounding out the fleet. Melody can no longer operate from that home base, the business is flourishing and she has made the biggest decision yet: Twin Lakes Limo, Inc. is breaking ground for the construction of their new home. Melody felt strongly that she wanted to own and operate a business in Lenoir City and after extensive searching, she is building a new facility at 1850 Old Highway 95 (across from Adesa Auctions), expecting completion in July 2005. The new facility will accommodate the sales and management offices as well as the operation, cleaning and housing of the vehicles. Clients can visit the Twin Lakes facility and see the actual limousine they will be renting. Local clients definitely have the advantage of seeing the vehicles in person before they sign a contract. However, with the Internet, Melody has opened up her business to a much larger audience and routinely is booking business over the entire southeast.
