Woodland Presbyterian School is an independent, co-educational day school serving pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and is a member of both of those organizations as well as the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools and the Memphis Association of Independent Schools.

After school Care:
After School Care (ASC) is a safe and fun environment for Woodland School’s children to participate in from dismissal until 6:00 PM. The children are provided with a daily snack immediately after they arrive in ASC. Snacks vary each day but usually include a variety of fruit, crackers, cheese, popcorn, and on the rare occasion, cookies. We also serve lemonade or water to drink. After snack time is over, the PreK-SrK children leave the classrooms and proceed to a play area. Weather permitting they will go outside to the playground and burn some energy, or to the Gym if it is available. Typically, this high energy play time will continue until 4:15-4:30. (The children are then taken to the Foyer with age appropriate toys and games. The older children, 1st - 8th grade, will do homework until approximately 4:15pm, and then proceed outside. 1st & 2nd graders will go to the back playground across from Point B. If the weather is poor, they will play in the Language/Bible classroom. 3rd - 8th grade will proceed to either the Park Avenue Field or the "big field" across from Point C to the gym, or may remain and play in classrooms. (Art room, computer room, or middle school class room.) Where these groups go depends on the weather conditions, gym availability, etc We will also escort children to extra-curricular activities such as Homework Room, Piano, Dance class,(and with parental permission) Wednesday night Action, and any athletic practice that begins between 3-6 PM. We will help children change into practice clothes, or uniforms.
