Besides many individual performances, Alexia has produced and directed “Egyptian Nights” for the past three years. This Exciting show features Alexia and her Dance Ensemble. Bellydance Basics : Bellydance Basics is a technique and fitness-oriented class that offers a solid foundation for developing a graceful dance style. Students learn basic hip and arm movements, head slides, basic traveling steps and turns, and basic combinations for dancing at home and socially. No previous dance training is necessary.
Bellydance Basics II: Part 2 of Bellydance Basics, this class offers continuing development of techniques learned in Bellydance Basics, introduces the use of common bellydance props, and introduces more advanced layering techniques to add a new dimension to dance choreographies. Dancers in Bellydance Basics II will typically learn a full choreography, as well as combinations that can be adapted to a variety of music.
Intermediate/Advanced Bellydance : Dancers in the Intermediate/Advanced Bellydance class have mastered the fundamental bellydance movements and are ready to develop their personal dance style through more difficult choreographies and combinations.
