Class Descriptions
Creative Movement - Class is designed for ages 2-4. Students learn the basics of ballet. (1 Hour) (Available for Tots)
Combination - Students will learn ballet, tap and jazz. This class is designed for students of all ages. (1 Hour) (Available for Mini, Junior, Senior and Graduate)
Hip Hop - Students learn the warm ups and techniques of the latest styles of hip hop dance. (1 Hour) (Available for Mini, Junior, Senior and Graduate)
Beginner Tumbling - Students learn the basics of tumbling along with proper stretches and cool downs. (45 min) (Available for Tots and Mini)
IntermediateTumbling - Students learn the basics of tumbling along with proper stretches and cool downs. (45 min) (Available for Mini, Junior and Senior)
Competition Team - By invitation or audition only. (Available for Mini, Junior, Senior, Graduate and Solo)
Amanda Whitman - Owner/Instructor
Mrs. Amanda has nineteen years of dance experience. She has seven years of teaching experience, and is an active member of The Dance Masters of America. She is also the dance coach at a local high school. She attends annual functions to keep up with the latest styles and techniques of dance. She has been in competitions for over fifteen years and won titles such as 2003 National All Star Winner,2003 Star Power, 2002 National Dance Champs and many more . She has performed all throughout the United States, including Disney World, Disney Land, Gatlinburg and the Macy`s Day Parade.
Krystle Romero - Instructor
Ms. Krystle has thirteen years of dance experience. This is her first year on the staff of Whitman`s Dance Company. She currently teaches jazz, tap, ballet, hiphop, ballroom and competition teams. She was also involved on her high school dance team and has performed in many dance competitions in the United States.
All Instructors at Whitman`s Dance Company have been through numerous intensive training sessions with Mrs. Amanda. They have been taught the lesson plans and attend annual teaching functions as members of Whitman`s Dance Company alongside Mrs. Amanda
