Country Place Restaurant
The restaurant began back in 1976, and is still family owned and operated, voted best caterer in 2004, finalist in 2005, and runner-up best country cooking in 2004 and 2005 - they are always in demand for various banquet, catering, and special occasion services.
There is anything you would crave for a great southern dinner. Fresh vegetables are served up with favorites like hand-breaded chicken tenders, homemade salmon patties, and new favorites like Rainbow Trout and Grouper. The desserts include homemade peach and apple cobblers, delicious pies, and others. It`s a pleasure to stop in and experience the relaxing, country style atmosphere, and for the kids, a real choo-choo chugs around the main dining room. Come savor the "sweet southern comfort" food! Private Parties can be held from 4pm-9pm by reservation only. 24 hour notification on exact number of people or you will be charged with the original number of people. All meals include a choice of a meat, 3 vegetables, dessert, drink, Or a private buffet of 3 meats, 6 vegetables, 3 desserts and drink.
Catering services
We guarantee our food for quanity and quality. If you book 50 people, for example, we guanrantee enough for 50 people, or our next catering for you will be at half price up to the number booked on the original party or less. We cannot make this guarantee if the number of guests is more than the number you have booked. But we will do our best to accomodate unexpected guests. It is our policy to prepare for at least 10% more than is booked. For example on a party booked for 50, we would prepare for 10% more (5 extras).
