Dr. Cox began his career as a paratrooper in the United States Army. At the age of 22, he decided to become an Optometrist. He attended Northeast State University in Tahlequah, OK, and received his degree in Optometry in 1989. Dr. Cox moved to Johnson City in 1990 and began his practice at Lens Crafters. He founded Cox Vision Center in October of 1997, and has watched it grow into the new millennium.
Dr. Cox is married to Janet Cox and is the proud father of six children: Andy, Candice, Donovan, Jaden, Riley, and Carson.
Needless to say, between his successful business and his family, he has his hands full!
