Since 1996, Center of Balance has been helping Cookeville relax. We currently have seven licensed therapists, practicing a wide variety of bodywork styles and techniques. Our staff is happy to help you choose the right type of therapy and the therapist who best suits your needs and your schedule. Center of Balance Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
Center of Balance massage therapists are all professionally trained, experienced, and licensed by the State of Tennessee to practice massage therapy. Each has his/her own unique style of massage, including variances in the amount of pressure used, the rhythm and cadence of a session, and particular areas of extra training and expertise. You may request a specific therapist when you schedule, or, if you're not sure, just let us know what your therapy goals are, and we'll place you with the therapist who will best fit your needs and schedule.

Our receptionist is usually available from 10-5 Monday through Friday to take your calls, answer questions, and book an appointment for you. Sessions are generally available by appointment from 9am until 7pm Monday through Friday, and until 5pm on Saturdays. However, each therapist has unique hours and days of availability.

- Weekly massage discount. If you're extra-dedicated to your health and wellness, or you find yourself in a position of needing more frequent treatments for a period of time, be sure to ask about our weekly massage discount. You don't have to see the same therapist or receive the same type of bodywork to qualify. If you plan it right, you may never have to pay full price again! That's like getting a free massage every 10 sessions! It's time to indulge your health!
- Reflexology After 5. Schedule a reflexology session with Gary Stahl any weekday after 5:00 pm and you'll receive 90 minutes for the price of an hour. What a great deal for anyone after work, especially those of you working at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center, since we're only 3 blocks away! Gary does take appointments at 7:00 or 7:30 in the evening, for those of you pulling those dreaded 12-hour shifts!
