Although we focus on multi-unit and executive level searches we also conduct searches at a unit level. H.E.S. has had successful placements in all areas of the restaurant industry and is receptive to searches in all areas including the following: CEO, President, COO, VP Level, Marketing, Purchasing, Human Resources, Regional Manager, GM, Managers, Exec Chef and SOUS Chef.
For Candidates. Just as with our clients, the needs and desires of the candidates will vary as well. H.E.S. will start the process as professional listeners and will evaluate how to best serve the candidate and be honest enough to let them know if we are for some reason unable to help. As usual all relationships and searches are based on integrity and confidentiality.
Other Services. The main focus of the firm in regards to the candidates is to assist them in a representative and consultative relationship through the process of searching for a new position in the restaurant industry. H.E.S. offers a variety of other services also that include but are not limited to the following: Interviewing Tips, Assistance with Resumes, Negotiating, Letters of Resignation, Salary and Cost of Living Info.
For Clients. Understanding that the specific needs of each client may differ, H.E.S. will work with every concept as an individual entity and cater to what will most effectively give them desired results. At the same time, we will be consistent with all clients in the fact that all work is carried out with integrity as its cornerstone.
Types of Searches:
- Retained searches are typically done at an executive level. A retained search is an exclusive search and requires guaranteed payment of fee typically in 3 separate installments to be negotiated between H.E.S. and the client.
- Engaged Contingency Search may be required on searches at a variety of levels. The engaged contingency search would require a portion, typically a third, to be paid prior to the search beginning to show an increased commitment and sense of urgency from both parties. This fee is non-refundable but does apply toward the full fee.
- Contingency Search is paid to the company once a placement of a candidate is made. Although fee structure is set and structured up front, the fee is not actually due until candidate is hired.
