I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, but my family (the Scobeys) have lived in Nashville for generations. I come from a long line of good cooks. Standing beside my mother, grandmothers and aunts. I enjoyed learning the art of cooking and memorizing the recipes they so lovingly shared. In fact, many of the dishes you may sample here today come from these great ladies.
Our goal at the Puffy Muffin is to delight our customers with delicious food and attentive service. We try hard to lend a personal touch to everything we do here, so please relax and enjoy your meal - we are very glad you came.

Each of our staff members is concerned about doing their part to ensure your dining experience is a pleasant one. "Going beyond what is expected" is the norm for our servers and register personnel. Like your Mother used to make - or better is our goal! We use the highest quality name brand ingredients in our baking - imported Guittard Chocolate, unsalted Land O Lakes butter and Purity Dairy products delivered fresh daily. An Austrian Pastry Chef is on staff to oversee the production of all our wonderful creations. Werner Bacher completed his training in Salzburg, Austria. He earned his Masters Degree in 1976 for Baking and Pastries. He continues to encourage us toward excellence in European delights.

She takes her responsibility very seriously and understands your event is of utmost importance to you.
