Sumner Crest Winery

Word spread and demand grew for an expanded wine list featuring crisp classic varieties to mouth filling dessert wines. Champagnes and Port soon followed. As recipient of 19 medals from national and international competitions in 2000, Sumner Crest has received the respect of wine lovers everywhere.
Our Wines:
- Dry Wines. Chardonnay, Seyval, Merlot, Cabernet Savignon, Vin Rouge.
- Semi Dry Wines. Sumner Queen, Steuben, Riesling.
- Semi Sweet Wines. Pioneer Blush, Robertson King, Niagra.
- Sweet Wines. Muscadine, New Deal.
- Dessert & Specialty Wines. Orlinda Gold, Portland Strawberry Blush, Tennessee Blackberry, Bonnie Blue.
Events. Our free, family focused events are a great way to spend a relaxing Saturday evening. Pack a picnic and your favorite blanket or lawn chair, buy a bottle of Sumner Crest wine for the evening and a couple to take home for the upcoming week, sit back and enjoy the music.
Private Tours. You can take a private tour and tasting for a group of 10 or more. We will actually set up our front room "The Chandelier Room" for you and your guests. We will provide Fruit and Cheese trays and seating is provided in the room. The room will be reserved for you and your guests. You will also have your own host/hostess to accommodate your party. We will provide some wine education tips, as well as giving information about our winery and how the wine is made in our facility.
Gift Shop. We have gone to great lengths to collect the inventory in our gift shop. When visiting the winery, make sure you take the time to browse the mouth-blown stemware from Italy and Romania. The gold leaf bar sets, and the scented candles from local artisans. The walls are hung with original and reproduction oils, and beautiful florals fill the floor displays. Inventory and displays are changed seasonally, so there is always something new to see, and a treasure to discover. Wine is but one of the loves our owner has, and enjoys sharing. A large collection of early American and European antiques are on display for sale at the winery. You can walk through the beauty of the centuries past and take home an heirloom that even the most serious collector would be proud of.
Classic Cars. You can also enjoy the collection of antique and classic cars that are permanently on viewing at the winery. Take a ride back to your childhood memories. Sumner Crest is more than a winery, it’s about all the great memories of the past and enjoying the present to its fullest. If you have a passion for vintage cars or own one that you enjoy showing, you can take part in our classic car show.
