Rose Hill Wedding Chapel
Built in the late 1920’s, this Cathedral has witnessed many of the changes in Johnson City. From its lofty perch, it has seen the growth, decline and now the rebirth of old downtown Johnson City. According to lore, the original building was built in Paris in the late 1800’s. Drawings were brought here in the 1920’s and the building was opened in 1930. The European architecture and craftsmanship of this building is something to behold, featuring majestic 50 foot cathedral ceilings with handcrafted wood beams, a huge stained glass “Rose” window, and a marble aisle. Straight out of Camelot, it seems, it has been restored and is now open as Rose Hillwedding Chapel.
