The Eyewear Gallery
Dr Johnson is licensed as a Medical Optometrist on a number of health care plans. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association,West Tennessee Optometric Association and West Tennessee Eye Task Force.
The Eyewear Gallery is located in central East Memphis on Perkins Extended at Laurelwood Place. Dr. Warren Johnson and his wife Kay Johnson are co-owners of the Eyewear Gallery. The Eyewear Gallery opened its current location at Laurelwood Place in October 2004, after having established Memphis’ first high end designer optical in 1997. Dr. Johnson has been in practice for 22years. Kay Johnson, who does most of the buying for the Eyewear Gallery, selects the latest trends in designer eyewear in regard to style, form and function for women, men, teens and kids. This collection of eyewear represents all seasons, sports and hobbies as well as a large collection of sunglasses for both prescription and non prescription wearers.
The Eyewear Gallery finds the latest trends in eyewear for dress, casual and sports at International Vision Expos which occur in New York, Milan and Paris; one of which they attend yearly. Frames are chosen from some well-known European designers and some are discovered on buying trips. The frames they pick come from countries such as Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and even the far-east to broaden the collections they already carry.
The Eyewear Gallery is open Monday through Saturday.
