We have a spacious Fitness Center with a broad array of equipment and an area to do massages. For additional exercise, take a walk down the road a mile to the mailbox, change in elevation 1000 ft. With a short drive you may also pick up a national park trail or simply “work” lifting the binoculars or swiveling the telescope to watch the birds. Wind up your exercise with a dip in the hot tub on the veranda, or a soak in your private whirlpool. For massages, it helps for us to book the masseuse ahead of time.
The Breakfast Experience. Elegant dining starts with your choice of location: the rear garden under the pergola draped with wisteria, the morning room with a blazing fire, the formal dining room overlooking Townsend, or the covered front veranda at tree top level. We use different china, stemware, silver, and flower/candle arrangements each day. Our place settings compliment the menu down to the napkin folds. Breakfast continues with: Fresh ground coffee, herbal teas, and juice; Fresh baked coffee cake or pastry; Different fresh fruit plates each morning; And a different main course each morning. With prior notice boxed picnic lunches are available.
Romantic Getaway - honeymoons, anniversary, proposals. We have had a 100% success rate in the proposal area so far. This package will be custom made to suit your desires. It can include food and/or flowers. Perhaps you would like to take advantage of the massage special below. Due to widely varying tastes and availability we find our guests prefer to bring their own spirits. While responsible drinking is permitted, portions of Blount and Sevier Counties are dry. You may wish to purchase prior to your arrival. We'll provide everything else to go with your champagne toast.

In Townsend, the peaceful side of the Smokies, you have the natural beauty and serenity of the Cades Cove entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Hiking, biking, fly-fishing, tubing, caving, strolling the bike trail, and touring the Heritage Museum, spend a day at leisure and feel you have stepped back in time.
