StoneFort Inn
Polished terrazzo floors, marble fireplaces, well-stocked bookshelves, an 1885 Grand Piano, a 1920s slate pool table, and enchanting bedrooms, each with its own distinctive charm, will delight travelers looking for a chic getaway or simple comfort. The newly restored brick and limestone hotel (circa 1909) is richly decorated with antiques and whimsical fabrics, offering gas fireplaces in most every room, private bathrooms with hot tubs and claw-foot tubs, and balconies overlooking the city. Your weekend stay includes a gourmet breakfast, complimentary wine & cheese on Friday & Saturday evenings, and luxury amenities.
Accommodations. The Stonefort Inn offers 16 sleeping rooms and 4 sitting rooms, each decorated with distinctive style. Enjoy overstuffed pillow-top mattresses on the king and queen-sized beds, luxury bath products, TV/VCRs, high-speed Internet connections, over-sized jetted tubs, French showers and claw-foot soaking tubs. Your stay includes a full gourmet breakfast, and wine & cheese receptions on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Polices. The StoneFort Inn’s guests must be at least 12 years of age. Stonefort Inn does not accept pets. The StoneFort Inn and its Cafe are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted on private room balconies and the Cafe's exterior decks. Your stay includes a hearty fresh gourmet breakfast daily.
Special Offers. The Stonefort Inn will be sure that your stay with us is extra special. But, you can always top off your special overnight stay by taking advantage of some of our unique offerings. All offerings are based on availablity. Unless mentioned, holidays are excluded. Enhance your stay with floral arrangements, a romantic bath for two, fruit and cheese platters, or other special offerings.
Cafe Elite.
- Breakfast. For overnight guests only, the Stonefort Inn serves a delicious, made-to-order breakfast Monday - Friday, 7:30am-9:00am and Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am-10:30am. Our guests have raved about the great morning meals which are sure to please any palette.
- Public Events. Cafe Elite is opened to the public for the Stonefort Inn Dinner Theatre Series and featured acoustic musicans.
Private Events and Rentals. Combining our Library Dining Room, the Limestone Room and the Quarry best utilizes the StoneFort's dining facility. The combination adds exclusive use of another outdoor deck and has immediate bar access. Our Inn has another primary area of seating referred to as the Greathouse Parlor. This area provides an elegant retreat for the inn guests and leads to our lounge area.
We provide the entire inn for those very special occasions when many overnight guests are involved.
- The Library Dining Room. Our Library Dining Room conveys warmth and privacy and is perfect for a seating of up to 34 guests or 45 buffet style.
- The Limestone Dining Room and Lounge. Our Limestone Dining Room features limestone walls and floor with a seating capacity of is 50 plus two dedicated outdoor decks and our classic bar area. A buffet gathering will easily accommodate 80 people.
