Braeside Inn

The name of the inn is derived from the Scottish term for a hill, brae, hence "Braeside". Newly constructed, the inn has a Scottish theme. Tom and Wendy Lynde decided to name the three guest rooms after their Scottish roots.
Rooms. As a small B&B we pride ourselves on our levels of privacy, peace and quiet and relaxation. For that reason we only have 3 rooms within Braeside Inn. Each room is individually decorated and so has its own character.
- Mackintosh Suite. This spacious room with large double vanity bathroom equipped with two person hydro-thermal massage bath and separate shower. The suite is almost completely surrounded with windows, affording super views of the Smoky Mountains. Relax and enjoy the fire. Perfect for honeymooners.
- Buchanan Room. This room is furnished with antiques, hand made furniture and authentic Buchanan tartan. Enjoy a magnificent view of the Smoky Mountains as you relax in front of the fire.
- Iamont Room. This room is furnished with antiques hand made furniture and authentic Lamont tartan with a super view of pasture land, the East prong of the Little Pigeon River and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Food. A complete breakfast is served beginning at 8:30 a.m. Prior to this sumptuous fare, relax in the living room, dining room or on our scenic porch with your choice of coffee or tea. With advanced notice we will do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. In the evening, try some sweet treats and a refreshing beverage.
Special Offers. Why not combine your visit to Braeside Inn with something you enjoy. We offer a range of different packages and specials to appeal to everyone.
- Spa package. We can arrange for local therapeutic massage specialist Althea Powers (LMT & MLD/CDT Certified) to visit you at the inn. Althea offers "a healthy touch to soothe and encourage healing" and adds a phenomenal level of personal relaxation to your visit to the Smoky Mountains. Althea's treatments range from body specific or full body massage to manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy.
- Golfing. Spend two nights with us and get discount greens fees at beautiful Eagle's Landing Golf Course, which is rated Four Star by Golf Digest. This 18-hole, par 72 championship course is an enjoyable and challenging golf experience for golfers of all skill levels and showcases breathtaking vistas of the Smoky Mountains.
- Romantic. Why not treat your loved one to a romantic retreat. As well as the privacy and relaxation of Braeside Inn and the spectacular views of the Smokies, we will also provide some little extras to make your visit as romantic and memorable as possible. We will provide you a luxurious spa basket so you can take full advantage of our thermo-hydro massage spa bath tubs which are available in each room. Alternatively you can choose our "Braeside Basket", which contains romantic treats to share, including truffles and dipped strawberries. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or even a Valentines weekend.
Children by special arrangement. Sorry, no pets. No smoking is permitted in the Inn.
